My career with Acadian Seaplants encompasses more than 25 years, and like many folks who are fortunate enough to sneak a peek into the sustainable world of seaweeds, I became fascinated by these amazing marine macroalgae. As the author of a number of research publications, primarily around health and wellness in relation to seaweeds, I never cease to be astounded by the benefits that can be derived from this natural marine resource. As seed stock manager, I play a fundamental role in the on-land cultivation of high value seaweeds for food, food ingredients, and cosmetics.
