Shirley Choi has worked in DFO’s Aquaculture Management Program in various capacities since 2011. She is currently the Regional Program Coordinator for the Fisheries and Aquaculture Clean Technology Adoption Program (FACTAP) for the Pacific Region. Shirley has been supporting clients achieve their sustainable development goals since the program started in December 2017. In this role, she has helped numerous clients develop project proposals to receive funding to grow their seafood business.  Shirley is always keen to learn about the latest advancements in clean technologies and is passionate about clean growth.

Shirley holds a B.Sc in Food, Nutrition and Health from UBC. She is interested in all aspects of food, including food production, food policy, nutrition, and cooking.
